Pedestrian crossings at robots can be improved. When the pedestrian light is on - no other vehicles should be allowed to move. Expecting drivers to yield to the green man is not failsafe for pedestrians. The timing is often unrealistic- with pedestrians given only a few seconds to cross a road.
