Easier reporting of Squatters in Public Spaces

Currently to report squatters is onerous and not well aligned with other types of requests for service. The Web page is poorly maintained : https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Report/Report-illegal-land-use/Report-illegal-occupancy-or-land-invasion Logging via a portal requires registration via phone instead of just being able to call out these issues which are growing by the month with seemingly no intervention. THe majority of bridges along the N1, the areas between the road and the slipways, many gaps between roads and walls are occupied by squatters. This is not only a safety issue, especially on the highway, and fire hazard due to open fires, but also creates massive ecological damage due to the refuse thrown everywhere. A simple example is on the N1 just before the military base on the left, plastic, bottles and cans thrown on the floor. Why is the city making it so difficult to reoprt these, and how has it gotten so out of control, its in plain sight where police drive daily.
