Implement pedestrian & cyclist safe paths wherever possible

I fully endorse the proposals to develop cycling & pedestrian friendly infrastructure in the city. All new developments & roads should be required to have cycle paths & pavements that are free of motorised vehicles. Active transport, especially to schools & workplaces must be encouraged. Look to Holland for a country where cycling & walking are priorities above cars & lorries. I suggest shorter timescales for introducing these changes. 2050 is too far away.
