I agree that the proposal to amend the MPBLwith regard to transparency needs amending but I submit that it should be amended to say that all planning applications and their motivation and all their documents in support should be emailed to surrounding properties. This is particularly important from heritage areas as the buildings must be preserved and organisations like Obs CA must have a chance to put their case. In addition, Observatory ) my neighbourhood, parking on the road is at a premium. High rise buildings should not be allowed to erect buildings with no parking and then say “ park outside “, as the developers for Orion have said. This will create overspill of parking to the side roads. We need to knowin advance what is proposed not after the fact. I also think it is disgraceful that developers sell units before planning peryis granted in an arrogant stance that they will not be refused. Thank you.
