Road safety at schools

I have been observing that we are experiencing a huge lack of proper and safe use of public roads amongst our kids. At school, particularly children don't usually apply safe crossing at any road signs.i would appreciate a scholar patrol each morning before school and after school. We create a conscious group of children to stand at the gates acting as traffic officials for the learners and maybe get a traffic official to assist and teachers. A team to help with traffic congestion because of children's transport taking over at drop offs and not adhering to road safety. Because kids run around without looking and playing. They would be the ones making sure children learn to obey road safety and walk on public roads with proper knowledge. That way we are also implementing some life skills, and thats what most schools are lacking these days, I would really enjoy running the group myself and start a lifeskills program for children but due to everything going on in the country no one actually care about our children people our kids dont know how to even sew a button or know how to plant a seed come on parents
