Safe secure storage of bicycles

The most important aspect to achieve is secure storage facilities for bicycles if the city is going to embrace cycling as a mode of mobility in CBD. I for one would gladly hop on a train from S. Suburbs with my bicycle and use it in the CBD if I knew I could leave it somewhere close to where I needed to be and return to pick it up in one piece again to return home. This is the greatest challenge world wide and is still problematic in UK, Netherlands and the like, where bicycles are use. Theft and vandalism is rife.
With more e-bikes available even in the wind and on hills cycling is more accessible to more people than in the past.
Possibly look at including electric segways, hoverboards, unicycles and scooters.
There should be no charge for taking a bicycle on a train outside high peak travel times.
