People need houses I agree with the other comment as this land can be used to build gap houses for people as cape town is expensive and the demand of house is huge where it is forcing people to rent on affable flats so at less give other an opportunity to buy
Important Issue

Important IssueOne of the key priorities that should be addressed is the proposed development of the 1,000 housing units that were planned to be built on the farm for people who are still in need of proper accommodation. The budget allocated for this initiative should be focused on ensuring that this project is implemented successfully. In addition, the development of essential public infrastructure such as clinics and other government service offices should be included as part of the project. These facilities will not only improve access to basic services for the community but will also help stimulate local economic growth.Such projects have the potential to create employment opportunities, particularly for young people who are currently facing very high unemployment rates. By investing in housing, healthcare facilities, and public service infrastructure, the government can contribute to long-term sustainability, skills development, and job creation for the upcoming youth.
