- Albert Philander Way between Eestriv Way and Raymond Ackerman Avenue
- Bardale Road between Hindle Road and Silversands Avenue
- Bentley Crescent between Eestriv Way and Silversands Avenue
- Diepwater Main Road between Waterblom Main Street and Kasba Street
- Eestriv Way between Eestriv Way and police station entrance
- Hindle Road between Wesbank Main Road and Eestriv Way
- Marthinus van Schalkwyk Road between Happiness Street and Wesbank Main Road
- Silversands Main Road between Wesbank Main Road and Wesbank sportsground
- Vogelvlei Main Road between Wesbank Main Road and Silversands Main Road
- Waterblom Main Street between Silversands Main Road and Wesbank Main Road
- Wesbank Main Road between Hindle Road and Stellenbosch Road
- Upgrading and maintaining NMT facilities and ensuring facilities are universally accessible
- Upgrading and installing dropped kerbs and tactile ground surface indicators for the visually impaired
- Upgrading pedestrian crossings by shortening the crossing distances, improving signage and road markings
- Introducing protected cycle lanes where applicable
The new infrastructure will have a significant impact on improving road safety for both pedestrians and cyclists.
In terms of Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed NMT infrastructure.
