Comment on the proposed sale of City-owned property in Khayelitsha
In accordance with Section 4 of the City’s Immovable Property By-law (2015) and Chapter 2 of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (2008) we are considering the sale of the following City-owned property:

The property is intended for residentially led mixed-use development. The development will contribute towards the City’s Human Settlement Strategy of delivering affordable housing in well-located areas.
In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed sale from 17 July – 17 August 2026.
