About
The City’s Urban Mobility Directorate plans to introduce several MyCiTi bus stops and embayments to support scheduled bus services operating in mixed traffic in the Wynberg area.
The proposed stops are for the MyCiTi buses that will operate in mixed traffic between the Sky Circle in Lansdowne and the Wynberg public transport interchange.
The stops form part of the roll-out of the second phase of the MyCiTi bus service and will support the bus operations while the construction of the primary trunk route, which includes dedicated red bus lanes, continues.
Public transport embayments are planned at each of the proposed stops to allow buses to safely pick up and drop off passengers without delaying the general flow of traffic for motorists.

Visit the MyCiTi website for exact locations of the proposed MyCiTi stop.
In terms of Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed MyCiTi bus stop locations.
Objections will be considered before a final decision is reached.
